1879 isn’t simply a year, or a number we put on our handcrafted frames: to us, it represents heritage. Our doors opened in 1879, and we handled optical of all kinds — eyewear, naturally, but also binoculars, cameras, microscopes, telescopes, and more. In the five generations of family-run business since then, we’ve focused and perfected our craft to become an indispensable member of the American vision industry.
